The chemotherapy journey

Veterinary Nursing | Oncology | 54 mins

With approximately one in four of our veterinary patients diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime, chemotherapy is becoming more commonly administered in veterinary practices. But how can we ensure that these patients are treated appropriately, with client and staff safety prioritised? And how do we ensure that our patients have excellent quality of life, while supporting their carers at the same time? This webinar will discuss the chemotherapy journey, from the first visit through to end of life. We will discuss pre-visit considerations, health and safety, the chemotherapy visit, supporting pet carers, and most importantly making the treatment a positive experience for our patients.
