Can I log vtx content towards my RCVS CPD obligation for continued education?
Yes, for all of the courses you will also be able to find the 1CPD QR codes that you can use to speed up your CPD record logging. The one thing we all dread doing!!
Are your courses RACE approved?
If a course is RACE approved, you will find this information clearly indicated in the course information. You can also search for RACE approved courses via the courses page on the website.
Who produces the webinar content?
We have RCVS and EBVS Recognised Specialists or Specialists in training involved with our webinar events.
Will I be able to download a certificate of completion for courses & webinars?
Yes, once you have watched the content and completed any necessary requirements, you will be able to automatically download a certificate from your records and these can also be found in your member dashboard.
How long do webinars remain accessible if purchased as a non-member?
30 days.
Can I request an invoice to give to my employer?
Absolutely yes! if you would like us to send you an invoice for any of our services, all you need to do is contact us: info@vtx-cpd.com and we will get that sorted for you.
Can I get a copy of my receipt/invoice for my employer?
Yes, once you have placed an order and it has been completed, you can download all your invoices and receipts from your 'My account' area.
Does my membership renew automatically each year?
Yes, but you have full control and can update payment details or cancel at any time via the account page on our website. You will also receive a 30 day reminder before your membership subscription renews.
Do I have full access to membership benefits during the 'free' trial period?
You will have full access to our webinar library and group forums during this period and can still join in with any live sessions that are planned. However, access to your FREE course and clinical advice credits only become activated once the trial period has ended and your full membership has been activated.
How do I reset my log in and password?
Don’t worry, if you forget your password, you can follow the forgotten password link on the login page to quickly and easily request a reset of your password. You will need to enter the email address associated with your account. If you've forgotten which email address you registered with, or are having other issues with logging in, please contact us: info@vtx-cpd.com.
What is your Specialist clinical advice service?
We provide clinical advice for any internal medicine, critical care, anaesthesia and cardiology conundrum that you may have. We aim to reply to all requests received through our website within 24 hours (excluding weekends and UK bank holidays).
What is an advice credit and how can I use this?
An advice credit gives access to our clinical advice service. One credit equals a 30 minute telephone consultation with one of our specialists between the hours of 0900-1700 Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Selected membership packages include advice credits and additional credits can be purchased, in multiples of one, at any time via our website. Please note that advice credits are not interchangeable between colleagues within a practice.
What if I need urgent advice about a case?
This service is not suitable for urgent advice and in that case we would direct you to your local referral hospital.
