Taking the pain out of nutrition calculations

Nutrition | Veterinary Nursing | 54 mins

Nutrition calculations are a daily part of veterinary practice, but they don’t have to be complicated or time-consuming. This practical webinar is designed for veterinary professionals who want to build confidence and efficiency in evaluating and communicating nutritional plans. The session will break down how to accurately determine energy requirements, assess the calorie content of pet foods, and divide daily feeding allowances for real-world compliance. Participants will also learn practical methods for calculating feeding costs, determining ideal body weight, and performing energy calculations for safe and effective weight loss.

Finally, we’ll cover how to accurately compare two diets to support evidence-based recommendations and clear client communication.
