How to approach nasal disease in dogs and cats (Part 1)

Internal Medicine | Primary Care | 65 mins

In this webinar, we will take a comprehensive look at how to approach cases where dogs and cats present with nasal signs, such as nasal discharge, sneezing, or congestion. In the first part, we will explore key considerations when evaluating these patients, including how factors such as age, breed, and history (signalment) can influence our clinical suspicions. We will also discuss important physical examination findings that can provide valuable diagnostic clues and guide our next steps. Additionally, we will review the available diagnostic tools—including imaging modalities, endoscopy, and laboratory tests—highlighting when and why each may be appropriate for different cases.
