    I like prokolin enterogenic as a probiotic. It is usually tolerated well and I think we see good results with it.

    I have not used the Vet Pro product, but provided it contains the same quantity of cobalamin I should think it would be effective.

    Thanks for the fab questions! So we do have information about complication rates for both surgical and endoscopic biopsies as well as for bile aspirate. I have summarised the papers below and also given you the references in case you wanted to read around the subjects too.

    In the following paper looking at surgical biopsies, of 172 cats, two (1·2%) had definite dehiscence, and four (2·3%) had possible dehiscence.

    Gastrointestinal perforation occurred in 1.6% of cats and 0.1% of dogs that underwent endoscopy during the 17 yr study period
