Hi Scott, this is very helpful, thank you. So if a dog has elevated liver enzymes and secondary diseases have been excluded, then next step is ultrasound of liver? Is there a point to perform a BAST if ultrasound of liver is normal? Do we still need to perform fna/biopsy of liver if nothing abnormal on the scan? And do we perform BAST only in cases where there is concurrent hypoglycemia, low albumins etc?
