Sean McCormack

Dr Sean McCormack is a veterinarian, conservationist and media presenter. Following a degree in Animal Science, Sean attended vet school in University College Dublin, taking elective modules in zoo and wildlife medicine. After six years in full time clinical practice treating a wide range of wildlife, domestic and exotic species he moved to an industry consultant role in pet nutrition. 

During this career move he founded the Ealing Wildlife Group in West London, putting community volunteers at the heart of various conservation and rewilding projects. Sean is the project lead and license holder for the Ealing Beaver Project which has returned a family of Eurasian Beavers to urban London for the first time in over 400 years in a unique, publicly accessible site called Paradise Fields. 

Sean is an ambassador for Beaver Trust, host and producer of Sean’s Wild Life podcast and a TV and media presenter with appearances on BBC Springwatch & Autumnwatch, BBC The One Show, Channel 5 News, BBC CBeebies, ITV This Morning, ITV Lorraine, BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio London and more.
