Jennifer Cartwright
Jennifer Cartwright is an Internal Medicine Specialist. She graduated from Bristol Veterinary School in 2010, after completing an intercalated BSc in Veterinary Pathogenesis at the University of Bristol and elected student committee positions in the British Veterinary Association, Association of Veterinary Students (UK & Ireland) and International Veterinary Students Association (global executive committee). She then worked in a small animal practice before starting advanced clinical training with a Junior Clinical Training Scholarship at the University of Nottingham, which was followed by further clinical training at the University of Edinburgh. Her Senior Clinical Training Scholarship was completed alongside a Masters in Research at the Roslin Institute and she successfully gained her Diploma from the European College of Veterinary Medicine- Companion Animals (Internal Medicine) in 2017. Jennifer completed her PhD focussed on inflammation in acute liver injury and repair at the University of Edinburgh. Alongside this she continued clinical provision across various referral centres in the UK. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the R(D)SVS, University of Edinburgh, and continues her research in the Centre for Inflammation Research and Centre for Regenerative Medicine.
