Emma Onyejekwe
Emma Onyejekwe qualified as a veterinary nurse in February 2019 and works part-time in a small animal charity hospital. Her main passions include animal welfare, wildlife health, and conservation, and this has led her to volunteer for numerous projects around the world, such as working with monkeys, rhinos, and pangolins. To expand her knowledge, Emma completed the Girling and Fraser Advanced Programme Vet Nursing in Wildlife and aspires to help British Wildlife coming through the doors of veterinary practices through her content on her social media platform, The Wildlife Vet Nurse, and work with the British Wildlife Rehabilitation Council (BWRC). In recognition of her work promoting wildlife care, Emma was awarded a 30 under Thirty Award at the London Vet Show in 2023.
