Thanks so much for such a detailed and helpful response. This patient is on thyroid supplementation, vetoryl, meloxicam and a liver supplement. She had also been on antibiotics following repeat urine C&S for recurrent UTI’s but this has now been completed.

It came up in a vet discussion whether she might benefit from tranexamic acid but we were aware that she could be at increase risk of thrombosis. The persistent haematuria does not appear to be clinically causing her a problem and she is not significantly anaemic so it sound like this would be be the best treatment looking at risk/ benefit.
