My first encounter with TXA was in Thailand where I saw it used in dogs with bleeding problems. There were a number of blood parasites e.g. E.Canis there so I do wonder if that was a contributing factor to it’s use post surgery etc. I haven’t ever used it in clinical practice in the UK so I am interested to hear of it’s potential uses and will remember to consider it.
