Hi,
I’m not sure about the pH part of it but I very rarely use omeprazole now. Only for patients who have ulcers or are likely to get re-occurring vomiting/regurge so I’m worried about oesophagitis. However, with the latter, I’m risking pneumonia rather than pneumonitis if there’s aspiration.
