That is an amazing image… And a bit frightening! I don’t routinely do contrast urethrograms but I’m wondering what would have happened if this had been a pneumocystogram/ urethrogram?

I have always been a little cautious when doing pneumocystograms if any resistance as I was once told a tale as a new graduate of over inflation in a neoplastic bladder causing air to back into the ureters and kidney causing an air embolism. I have kept that caution but always thought it was a bit of an urban myth, now this has got me thinking…..
