James Adams

James Adams qualified from Liverpool in 2006 and, after spending 6 months confirming to himself that small animals were not his forte, he worked in farm animal practice in both the UK and New Zealand before joining the RVC in 2012 as a Staff Clinician in Farm Animal Medicine. His role there was to run the Farm Animal Hospital as well as to oversee one of the final year farm animal rotations. Whilst at the RVC James completed a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine and his PG Certificate in Veterinary Education. He moved to Langford in 2018 where he took up the position of Lead Clinician at the Farm Animal Practice, and in 2019 completed his final ACVIM exams making him a Diplomate of in Large Animal Internal Medicine. James currently divides his time between locuming and chasing the sun.
