my cat gets a gaba liquid made by Summit. Apparenfly there are 2 liquid forms available. The Pain Service at Langford seem to be under the impression the Summit one is more palatable. Cat always looks like she swollowed an acid frog when i give it to her.

i have seen it given to hospitalised post blocked cats and post sub surgery

I have also given the powedered version mixed inro water to an aggressive cat with good results. the reason we did that was the cat was inventing new ways to kill us every second so he was difficult to handle or pill.

im not sure if this preparation modifies Gaba in any way. i could not find any info on that but stand by to be corrected
